Videjo /vidˈe͡ɪo/ (Lugar de vista)

Este zine fue creado para el jam Sunday Zine Club #22, del cual es la primera vez que participo (intenté entrar una vez en el pasado pero leí mal la fecha límite y no llegué a tiempo, lol), e igual es la primera vez que subo algún zine mío a itch, y es la primera vez que escribo un poema en Esperanto, del cual estoy aprendiendo las bases, así que es muy probable que tenga muchos errores que en un futuro me darán mucha risa.

La temática del jam fue VIEW (Vista), la cual quise interpretar a manera de historieta-poema. Me considero una persona muy visual, y por largo tiempo me he preguntado qué haría si perdiera la vista. En este cómic no intento responder la pregunta, pero sí explorar a modo de reflexión si soy porque veo, o si yo hago mis formas de ver, incluso si no dependen literalmente de la vista, y a través de estas vistas me hago a mí mismo.

Elegí el Esperanto por ser algo más neutral y así no tener que elegir entre español o inglés, también como ejercicio práctico por actualmente estarlo estudiando, y porque creo que la estructura da posibilidades de crear conceptos abstractos que de otra manera no podría formular.

Videjo /vidˈe͡ɪo/ (A place of view)

This zine was made for the Sunday Zine Club #22 jam, of which this is my first time participating (I tried to enter a previous one but I misread the deadline and didn't make it on time, lol), it's also my first time uploading a zine to itch, and it's my first time writting poetry in Esperanto, which I'm currently learning it's bases and I'll probably be making lot's of mistakes that will make me laugh in the future.

This jam's theme was VIEW, which I interpreted as a comic-poem. I consider myself to be very visual, and for a long time I've wondered what would I do if I were to loose my sight. This comic doesn't try to answer that question, but to explore and reflect if I am because I see, or if I make my own ways of seeing, even if they are not literally bounded to my sight, and through these views I create myself.

I chose Esperanto as it is more neutral and I won't have to choose between writting in spanish or english, also as a practical excercise for my study, and because I believe it's structure gives the posibility to create more abstract concepts that otherwise I wouldn't be able to formulate.
